District Administrator Alexander Tritthart visited VIPA GmbH

Looking over the shoulder of an automation expert

Lateral thinkers and controller experts with social responsibility: the District Administrator Alexander Tritthart recently took a look into the storage logistics and the production of controller units for electrical devices of VIPA GmbH in Herzogenaurach. The company has been located in this region for more than 30 years and has already received several awards for its solutions.

He takes the social responsibility seriously
Alexander Tritthart was particularly impressed by the social responsibility of the process automation experts. VIPA for example provides a company pension and supplementary benefits for its approximately 250 employees. Small but very clear signs that the company takes care of its employees, are the many cost-free water and coffee stations which are available everywhere in the company.

Even internal health management is not a foreign concept at VIPA. CEO Bob Linkenbach is setting a good example by cycling to work from Erlangen to Herzogenaurach every day. There are fitness offers for those who want it and the very sporty people bear the company´s name on their chests at the Roth Triathlon or the Dolomites marathon.

Remain loyal for a long time
“Here the private economy has many good ideas to keep qualified employees”, District Administrator Alexander Tritthart said, after his tour in conversation with Bob Linkenbach. “Dissatisfaction with the work situation is rare, there is not much fluctuation, and employees are very loyal and long term”, said Bob Linkenbach, explaining the formula for success. His company regularly creates new jobs and apprenticeship positions. For this the company received the “Jobstar” of the European metropolitan area Nuremberg.
