YASKAWA at SPS IPC Drives (Hall 7, Stand 340) - Experience Connectivity

At SPS IPC Drives (Stand 7-340), YASKAWA will demonstrate precisely how this year's focus topic of connectivity can be experienced at all levels of industrial automation – from the field and control level of machine architecture through the systematic use of digital technologies to higher-level management and monitoring systems.

As a trade fair highlight, YASKAWA's 'Singular Control' solution with the MP3300iec RBT will also be making its European debut: This is a standalone compact machine controller that controls robots, servo drives, inverter drivers and I/O systems. Uniform application programming takes place via a single software tool (MotionWorks IEC) with industry-standard PLCopen function blocks. Visualization systems and camera systems are also integrated.

As evidenced by this new development, YASKAWA is systematically focusing on openness and ease of integration when it comes to connectivity by supporting the commonly used fieldbus systems with compatible function blocks and interfaces. Another example is the Sigma-7 servo system, which can now be used with PROFINET.

YASKAWA will also present other new products and groundbreaking solutions for networked Industry 4.0 environments in the fields of control technology, drive systems and industrial robots. The focus is once again on the software platform 'YASKAWA Cockpit': Various machines and components can collect, analyze and visualize data in real time, both locally and remotely. As a result, it is possible to improve performance and increase the availability of the machine. A visualization over four levels demonstrates the full functionality of the 'YASKAWA cockpit'.
