Bernd Hagen was not able repeat his victory of last year in this year's VIPA HerzoCross.  This time Tobias Heining was the new and well-deserved  winner. Already after the first run of the race the sportsman of the TSV Altenfurt with  the number 12 had left the two favorites Lasse Ibert and Bernd Hagen behind. In the cycling, the eventual winner was  only 2nd at this point of the race, behind Lasse Ibert and ahead of Bernd Hagen.

In the final run Heining pulled back the pole position and in the end won clearly ahead of last year's winner, who drove Lasse Ibert into third place. With the women Elvira Flurschütz won ahead of Catharina Schmalfuß and Yvonne Scheid.
Three athletes of VIPA/profichip took part.

Markus Sponsel secured the internal title, sovereign , finishing  with a time of 1:12:05. Behind him came Rainer Kaufmair (1:20:17) , who, in a thrilling sprint, gave his profichip colleague Roland Tobiasch (1:20:18) no chance to overtake.
